You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement * Developing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions * Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner * Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports **Responsibilities and Obligations** The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components * Assisting with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities * Presenting findings, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding * Assisting with creating and disseminating specific questions to pull and coordinate data from various sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the Group * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader **Information, Abilities, Work Style, and Capacities** The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, abilities, and work style: * Involved ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with care and accuracy * Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present recorded in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting measurements * Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning * Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented help/group-based environment * Ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives **What We Offer** As a Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Data Analyst at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.
