As a remote employee, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that values flexibility, work-life balance, and professional growth. **Job Summary** As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer representatives. Your duties will also include handling Corporate Activity Events, settling and reconciling transfer activity, and processing and reconciling returns activity. You will work closely with our Retail and Institutional Company Teams, as well as external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** * Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer representatives * Handle Corporate Activity Events, including settling and reconciling transfer activity and processing and reconciling returns activity * Perform research on complex and escalated issues, test and validate new innovation improvements and provider modifications * Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account * Analyze and resolve client purchase exceptions, regulatory commitments, and settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks * Reconcile transactions around BOS and Fund Companies, evaluate and analyze relevant tax code, and correct tax coding errors * Resolve internal and external system enhancements or concerns, originate breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc., and deliver method or innovation solution choices to Control * Remediate transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency, answer service companion inquiries regarding Fund-specific requirements/eligibility, and provide action on Choice Investment moves to expedite customer requests or remediate not-in-good-order concerns * Timely and accurately complete client investing and returns requests **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the financial industry, particularly in investment, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions * Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3 * Familiarity with tax code and tax coding corrections * Experience with system enhancements or concerns, including originating breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc. * Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field **Skills and Competencies** * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and maintain a positive attitude **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a remote employee at blithequark, you will have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Professional development and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Opportunities for advancement and career growth within the company * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of talented professionals * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
