As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a vibrant and connected community. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk/Typing Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Accurately and efficiently entering data into computer systems, accessing information from databases, and verifying information on screens * Utilizing Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, to perform data entry tasks and create reports * Following written and spoken instructions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy, meeting or exceeding performance criteria * Troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues, and providing basic technical support to team members * Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes * Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data entry and typing **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree or vocational training in IT-related courses (a plus) * A minimum of two (2) years of completed college education or a Diploma/Certificate course * Excellent oral and written English communication skills * Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively * A strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality * Familiarity with PC hardware and software troubleshooting, and basic technical support skills * Prior experience with software applications, such as Outlook, is a plus * Familiarity with ticketing systems, a strong advantage * Ability to work in different shifts, with flexibility and adaptability **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Prior experience in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) or Technical Support * Experience with data entry software and systems * Knowledge of cloud-based applications and platforms * Certification in data entry or typing (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist, Certified Typist) **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 50-60 wpm * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced remote work environment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping you grow your career and develop your skills.
