About the Role We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our CPC Processor team in a remote call center environment. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, including patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. You will be responsible for processing medical record requests, documenting information in multiple platforms, and ensuring that our customers receive timely and accurate updates on their medical record status. This is a full-time remote role, Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST. You will be working in a high-volume production environment, and we are looking for individuals who are comfortable with this fast-paced setting and are able to multitask with ease. Key Responsibilities Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status updates Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and accurate manner Work effectively in a high-volume production environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to document and track customer interactions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and accurate manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a healthcare or medical records environment Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Customer Focus : Ability to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely and accurate manner Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and accurate manner Time Management : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Teamwork : Ability to collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
