As a leading provider of specialty mail order pharmacy services, we are proud to offer a wide range of medications and support services to patients across the country. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients via phone, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner * Coordinating and handling new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and updating patient benefits * Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system * Collecting and processing copay payments, obtaining approvals, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with sales or clinical issues * Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that patient needs are met and that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to order fulfillment **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution * A valid IL Pharmacy Technician License or the ability to obtain one * At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * At least one year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * At least one year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we are committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
