Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Specialist to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will have a direct impact on our mission to help people in need. You will provide customer assistance in ordering blood and plasma derivatives and transfusion-related products and supplies, maintain hospital inventory, and return blood products within regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: • Receiving routine orders for a variety of blood and pharmaceutical products and transfusion-related supplies, following appropriate procedures to ensure accurate order entry and order fulfillment, and making follow-up calls if product needs cannot be met as expected. • Maintaining and working with data, tools, or computer programs to facilitate management and monitoring of product and service information, rotating inventory of primary and remote facilities to ensure adequate supplies of products for the needs of customers. • Providing customer service to clients, proactively communicating with hospital customers to increase customer satisfaction, maintaining positive and professional communications, both internally and externally, to provide regular product/service information and follow-up, and promoting teamwork. • Investigating and resolving hospital shipment problems, receiving, investigating, and communicating related to customer concerns, completing customer concerns documentation accurately and timely, and forwarding to appropriate individual(s) to follow-up/review. • Assisting hospital personnel with inventory alternatives when requested products are unavailable within established guidelines and procedures that assist the customer and the patient. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: • High School or equivalent required. • Minimum one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Progressive experience in a dynamic, multi-task operational environment preferred. • Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics is preferred. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff, and excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a working knowledge of computers. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting. • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems. • Certification in customer service or a related field.
