Distance Learning Instructional Technologist
About the position Responsibilities • Support the Instructor of Record for veterinary nursing distance learning courses. • Respond to student emails and interact with students via online course discussions and live exam review sessions. • Create course syllabi and grade exams and homework assignments. • Evaluate student skills video submissions for clinical mentorship courses. • Develop course objectives and create video lectures and other course activities. • Conduct annual reviews and revisions of courses. • Assist with other VNDL administrative activities as assigned by the Veterinary Nursing Program Director and/or the VNDL Program Assistant Director. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree • Credentialed veterinary nurse/technician from an AVMA accredited program • 3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician/nurse in the veterinary field • Must be a credentialed veterinary technician. Nice-to-haves • Experience working remotely and teaching distance learning courses.
