In this role, you will be at the forefront of enhancing and protecting our digital infrastructure. Your expertise in patch management will play a crucial part in maintaining the security and stability of our enterprise systems. Collaborating closely with various IT teams, you'll lead critical initiatives aimed at minimizing vulnerabilities. Responsibilities • Support the Manager in developing and maintaining the enterprise-wide patch management strategy. • Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise patch management solutions. • Oversee the end-to-end patch management lifecycle including testing and deployment. • Analyze patch release notes and cybersecurity advisories to prioritize deployment. • Establish and enforce patch management Service Level Agreements (SLA). • Develop comprehensive patch management policies and procedures. • Manage patch exceptions and develop mitigation strategies for non-compliant systems. • Provide guidance on patch management best practices to various departments. • Monitor emerging trends in patch management and cybersecurity advisories. • Mentor peers and junior cybersecurity personnel to foster professional growth. • Travel to partner locations to provide on-site support for critical incidents as needed. • Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field; 4 years of work experience may substitute education. • 7-9 years of experience in cybersecurity or similar IT roles with significant patch management experience. • Strong knowledge of patch management methodologies, tools, and technologies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities. • Proficient communication and presentation skills for coordinating with various stakeholders. • Experience with scripting languages for automating patch management tasks. • Familiarity with enterprise patch management solutions and automation tools. • Leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for team development. • Commitment to continuous learning in the patch management domain. • Understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance best practices. • Willingness to travel as required for on-site support. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
