Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, interacting directly with patients to provide top-notch service, answer questions, and resolve issues. Your role will be crucial in promoting generic utilization, therapy changes, and patient education, all while maintaining our reputation for high-quality service. You'll work independently as part of a larger team, leveraging your excellent communication skills and knowledge of healthcare and insurance to make a positive impact on patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients. Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications. Perform adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain compliant with their therapies. Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information. Provide customer education and routine assessment, identifying problems and escalating them to pharmacists as needed. Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing and processing new referrals. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of customer service experience, handling and resolving customer needs over the phone. 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or a similar application. A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Residency in the state of Nevada. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance setting. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient adherence, and medication therapy. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
