About the position The Customer Service Agent position at National Patient Service Center is a part-time remote role focused on providing exceptional customer service to patients. The agent will be responsible for addressing patient inquiries, maintaining positive relations, and ensuring effective communication while utilizing ETM software and handling billing operations. After a four-week on-site training period, employees can work from home with provided equipment. Responsibilities • Provide service to patients in a professional manner. • Provide excellent, concise communication. • Learn and understand ETM software operation. • Learn and understand billing and account operations. • Answer and document all telephone inquiries. • Research and resolve problems with patients' bills. • Update patients' insurance coverage as needed. • Print courtesy claims and itemized statements. • Rebill accounts after receiving insurance information. • Arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plan as needed. • Perform other duties and assignments as requested. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Strong communication skills (oral and written) required. • Ability to speak, listen and type simultaneously. • Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. • Experience in retail and restaurant service is encouraged.
