As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to support our Canadian partners by preparing precise estimates, maintaining cost efficiency, and contributing to the success of multiple high-value projects. Responsibilities • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and bid documents for Canadian residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. • Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess project scope, risks, and requirements. • Collaborate with Canadian project managers, engineers, and contractors to clarify details and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain up-to-date cost databases, pricing references, and supplier contacts relevant to the Canadian construction market. • Support value engineering initiatives by recommending cost-effective materials and methods to optimize project budgets. • Ensure compliance with Canadian building codes, industry standards, and best practices in all estimating activities. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and templates. • Perform additional tasks and special projects as required to support project success and client needs. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a construction estimator, preferably with exposure to Canadian or North American projects. • Proficiency in Tradesmen software (required); experience with other estimating tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or CostX is an asset. • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing trends within the Canadian market. • Exceptional numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones. • Reliable high-speed internet connection and backup system to ensure timely and uninterrupted project delivery.
