Cloud Engineer develops and enhances services and offerings on cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner. Holder of the position plans, implements and maintains a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Key Responsibilities: Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend. Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance. Consistently automate with common automation frameworks. Setup and support various cloud platforms in order to reach production requirements. Work in highly dynamic environment reflecting latest cloud technology trends. Support development of cloud native apps or migration traditional application landscapes to cloud native form. Implement new technologies/services or upgrades to existing technologies to support production operation. Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations. Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary. Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards. Hands-on experience with (4 years): OS administration Shell scripting In-depth proficiency in (3 years): Cloud knowledge Agile Development VMware technology and director portal from VMware, vCenter, NSX T knowledge, vROps, login side, etc. Additional experience with (1-2 years): Containerization DevOps Information Security Technologies RESTful API DataCenter Hardware Programming Network Understanding Version control Language Requirements: English - Upper intermediate (B2) * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
