Civil Engineer, PE

Overview Job Summary We are hiring a qualified Civil Engineer, PE. This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the US. What Will You Do • Manage projects from start to finish with direct communications to client and Contractors • Involvement in accounting tasks such as tracking, bids, and expenses • Use of AutoCAD for drafting, design or QC efforts as needed • Delegate or self-perform project timelines as dictated by workload • Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once • Bounce to other teams as workload dictates • Mange communication for internal resources, and accurate external communication as needed • Potentially participate in Marketing /Business Development as opportunities arise • Continuously educate team members on standards and changes within client or scope of work • Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. What You Will Need • PE in civil engineering required • Willing to work in AutoCAD daily on a design or review level • Higher education and certifications or training preferred • 2+ years of direct AutoCAD and construction drawing preparation • Ability to learn and retain new knowledge • Ability to multitask and learn new information quickly and effectively • Previous work in the Right of Way (ROW) preferred • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to exercise adaptability in new situations • Self-starter with desire and ability to learn and retain knowledge • Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills • Excellent organizational and administrative skills Position Type • This is a full-time and exempt position. • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
