Analyst, Employee Benefits & Retirement

They are seeking a Benefits Analyst to support their Employee Benefits and Retirement Practice, partnering with Account Managers to deliver exceptional service and insights across the full lifecycle of employee benefits plans. Responsibilities Collaborate with Account Managers and Producers to service and retain benefits clients Prepare reports for new business, renewals, and plan updates Conduct marketing, including preparing specs, reviewing quotes, and recommending solutions Analyze data to develop quarterly experience reports and renewal projections Maintain and update client files in our broker management system (e.g., EPIC) Support clients via phone or in person with benefit inquiries and complex claims Troubleshoot issues and help administer clients’ benefit plans Assist with cross-selling and upselling HUB’s benefits solutions Perform account audits and coordinate with insurance carriers as needed Skills 1–2 years of group benefits experience, with exposure to renewals and underwriting Knowledge of Canadian group benefits plans and financial requirements LLQP license (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Access or EPIC is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to travel occasionally for client needs Benefits Flexible working arrangements Generous time-off policies HUB-sponsored training programs Tuition reimbursement Reimbursements for professional licensing and membership fees Special discounts on events, travel, accommodations, and personal home & auto insurance Company Overview HUB International is an insurance brokerage company that offers employee benefits, business, and personal insurance products and services.
