JOB TITLE: Aerospace Buyer FULLY REMOTE LOCATION: Remote, U.S. PAY RATE: $38-43/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Summary: • Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management. • Minimum 5 years experience as a Buyer; overall 7 years in Supply Chain Management. • Knowledge of compliant acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements. • Experience developing RFPs, statements of work, evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria. • Experience with both development and production aerospace programs. • International subcontract experience, including import/export compliance and ITAR regulations. • Experience with purchased services/subcontracting (e.g., licensing, software, and other non-tangible services). • Able to work Eastern Time Zone hours. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers, Engineering, and Program Management. • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: • Strong experience with purchased services/subcontracting. • Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier and internal relationships.
